About Us

Established in 1992 as an official chapter of the Romance Writers of America®, Red River Romance Writers is a non-profit organization focusing on the writing, sale and promotion of book length romance. Our goal is to to maintain high quality romance writing, educate aspiring authors, and provide networking for authors, editors, agents, and related professionals for the benefit of all.

Membership is open to any RWA® National member in good standing, with $25 chapter dues paid yearly on January 1st. (Membership dues paid after January will be prorated to a per month fee.) Visitors and guests are always welcome, and may attend up to 3 free meetings before we ask that you join.

To join RRRW by using our secure online membership application, simply follow the two simple steps below. (Please Note: You must be a member of RWA® National to join the RRRW Chapter.)

• Step 1: Use our secure Pay Pal order form.
• Step 2: Complete your application process by filling out our membership application. (Be sure to have your RWA® membership number handy.)
